We met in the summer of our junior and senior year of school at Marion L. Steele High School. It was Chloe's first year as a student athletic trainer for the football team and Matthew was the team captain. Our friendship started innocently, with Matthew constantly asking Chloe to stretch, tape, and help him prepare for practices/games (he would only ask Chloe for help, although there was an entire team of trainers). The dynamic suddenly changed when everyone around us helped us realize that we had a thing for each other. After acknowledging the obvious, Matthew finally asked Chloe out on our first date. Only a few short weeks later, we made it official as boyfriend and girlfriend. A year into our relationship, it was time for Matthew to go to college as Chloe started her senior year of high school. Our bond was special and despite being at different chapters in our lives, our love and commitment to each other kept us strong through it all. The end of the school year quickly approached for both of us and it was time for Chloe to start her college career as well. We were alike in more ways than one and even before we met, we were both drawn to pursuing our education in the same town. Our relationship matured and thrived throughout our college years. Finally, we were on the same life chapter and began discussing our future together. Matthew graduated college and moved back home as Chloe was once again in her senior year without him there. However, distance was not a challenge to us anymore as our relationship was stronger than ever before. In the most recent year in our relationship, Chloe has also graduated college and we have already accomplished so many of our plans together. In March of this year, we added a third member to our little family and rescued our precious fur baby, Hank. After 6 years of endless love and memories, Matthew proposed to Chloe (and of course she said yes!) A few short days after being engaged, we found out that our offer had been accepted on our dream home and that we would become first time homeowners. Over the past couple of months in our new home, we have been happier than ever before and we are ecstatic to become husband and wife. Our love story has been nothing short of adventure, love, and happiness and we are so excited to share our love with you on the most important day of our lives.
