At the time of writing, the "Capsule Wardrobe” hashtag has over 170 million views on TikTok. In it, you can find videos of users sharing why and how they are switching to a more neutral, flexible, and minimal wardrobe. In a world where hauls reign supreme, capsule wardrobes focusing less on trends and more on core pieces, sit on the other end of the fashion spectrum. Brands like Aritzia appear constantly in videos of people curating their capsule wardrobes thanks to timeless, key garments like trousers, blazers, t-shirts, and basics. Now, Everlane is also entering the space.

Everlane has always been a go-to for shopping basics you can wear over and over again and never get tired of, but now the brand has launched a dedicated capsule collection of elevated wardrobe essentials.

Available starting today, February 27, on everlane.com, the brand's new capsule collection features three staple pieces: The Gathered Trench ($178), The '80s Blazer ($198), and The Way-High Slouch ($98). All three are made using Tencel, a sustainable yarn that requires less energy and water than other fabrics. According to Everlane's press release, Tencel is a plant-derived fiber that is biodegradable, requires a lot less dye, and is also pure white when produced, which means no bleaching is necessary. It also means you can get good quality, tailored pieces at a reasonable price.

Though the price tags for these three pieces might not seem like a steal at first, once you look into the cost per wear and especially when you compare it to how much one could spend on a weekly or monthly basis on trendy pieces, it's certainly worth it. Plus, you can either wear Everlane's full suits as a set or mix-and-match with pieces you already own to maximize their cost per wear even more. The time to explore your current wardrobe and your personal style is now.

Below, you can shop some of our favorite pieces from Everlane's new capsule collection. We can't wait to see your TikToks sharing your capsule wardrobe journey!
