Highly recommend Octoparse as scraping tool for individuals and teams
Octoparse is very efficient and can handle very complex web scraping issues. I think it was made with high-end data scraping solutions in mind. It handles screen scraping, sites with Javascript, Ajax, scrolling, items within Iframe, etc., and 'get' requests API scraping.
I have been using it since 2019, and it is highly recommended.
Pros
Its ability to handle highly complex tasks compared to other tools in the market. The fast response from their support, ease of use, and most importantly, its try-except setup for everything ensures one error does not terminate the whole scraping.
Cons
I wish there were an option to clear data in Scraper before starting a new extraction on scheduled extraction. It would be very useful in parent-child configuration.

Octoparse - a requirement for any business!
Really seamless, support are quick and helpful, and it's very easy to learn yourself.
Pros
Octoparse has been an absolute game changer for us as a company. Being able to quickly and easily build tools to web scrape is revolutionary for us as a business.
Cons
Occasionally it can take a bit of back & forth with support to get it working on some websites, however I think this is more of an issue with the website layout than Octoparse itself most of the time.

Unable to Extract Data from Cloudflare Websites
Horrible company. I would not recommend anyone do business with them.
Pros
Nothing. They were unable to solve my business problem. I wanted to parse/scrape a particular website and the Octoparse service was unable to get past the Cloudflare anti-bot technology. I found a competing service that worked much better.

They were unable to solve my business problem. I wanted to parse/scrape a particular website and the Octoparse service was unable to get past the Cloudflare anti-bot technology. I found a competing service that worked much better. Additionally, they were unwilling to refund the charges made to my credit card, despite their claim they would remind me before making any charges (they did not send any reminders). I contacted them the day of the charges, and they still would not refund me. I had to contest the charges.

My Octoparse Experience
I am using it almost evry day, and I am happy with the maintenance.
Pros
-Quick turnaround when I need assistance for a specific task.
-Uninterrupted service.
Cons
1- I would prefer to use input file (csv) as a list in a loop - currently you can only import url list
2- I would prefer use the input file as a local path; so Octoparse would import it automaticall every time I run the task. Currently, I have to import the file manually everytime. It is not feasible.

Excellent software for web data extraction
We use Octoparse for academic and research purposes, and in this regard the program has met all expectations. Likewise, many of my students say that the program is easy to use and have adopted it as a key tool in their work as a key tool to increase their productivity.
Pros
I have been using Octoparse for almost 5 years now and I can confidently say that this is the best program for extracting data from the web without writing a single line of code. Plus, it has an intuitive platform and excellent technical support.
Cons
Despite having a very intuitive interface, it requires several hours of trial and error before you can fully master it. There are also opportunities for improvement in the translation of the interface into Spanish.
