Yibin Red Light Street is in the urban area, Binjiang Road (Street of Jinsha Plaza). Yibin is located on the southern edge of the Sichuan Basin, at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. Because the Jinsha River and the Minjiang River merge into the Yangtze River here, it is known as the "First City on the Yangtze River". Due to its special geographical location, Yibin has become the intersection of the north-south trunk line and the east-west axis of the Yangtze River in the national "five vertical and seven horizontal" transportation plan. Guikun Economic Zone is an important gateway to Southeast Asia. It is one of the six important hub ports of the Yangtze River planned by the state and a supporting city for the rolling development of Jinsha River hydropower. It is listed as a key support development area in the national Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone planning, and is an important supporting city for Sichuan to build an economic belt along the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and a new economic growth pole in southern Sichuan.
