I would like to take this merit, solemn Buddhist Pure Land.

Report the fourfold kindness, and the lower end of the three hardships.

He who witnesses it all shows empathy.

Do this retribution, and be born in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Back to Verse 2:

I wish to be born in the Western Pure Land with nine lotus flowers as my parents.

When the flower blooms, the Buddha realizes that there is no life, and the Bodhisattva does not retreat as a companion.
