On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Kylie Jenner shared a very intriguing and also very vague Instagram post announcing the launch of…something.
“Meet khy,” Jenner captioned her post, which included a picture of the businesswoman sitting on the ground in a leather trench coat and red pumps. She also tagged a new Instagram account with the @khy handle. So what is Khy, exactly?
Good question! Here’s everything we know so far.
What’s the product?
Back in July, Puck reported that Kylie Jenner was launching her own fast-fashion line with the help of Jens and Emma Grede, the same husband-and-wife duo behind Kim Kardashian’s Skims and Khloé Kardashian’s Good American. Now, that clothing line is coming to fruition.
Khy (a play on Jenner’s nickname) will collaborate with different guest designers throughout the year to create avant-garde and fashion-forward clothing, but at an accessible price point. The debut collection, featuring Berlin-based brand Namilia, includes a range of faux-leather pants, coats, tops, and base layers. Sizing ranges from XXS to 4X.
“The whole line is really inspired by my personal wardrobe, and the different moods that I’m in,” Jenner told The Wall Street Journal. The first drop, she adds, is very “King Kylie—who I am at my core.” King Kylie, of course, is another of her nicknames, a persona she developed during her Tumblr era.
Will Khy actually be affordable?
So far, yes! Prices start at $48, and even the most expensive item in the debut collection is still under $200.
When will it be available?
Khy will officially launch on November 1, but you can sign up for “early access” on the khy.com website right now.
This post will be updated.
