THE TWELTH BLACKWATER COUNTRY SHOW by the lake returns with more fun and laughter! A choice of have-a-go country pursuits in one place such as climbing, archery, canoeing and kayaking, clay shooting and fly-fishing. Meet local makers selling their original, handmade range of textiles, jewellery, ceramics, sculptures and art. Foodies are spoilt with the delicious range of fresh local produce, pies, cheeses, pickles, cupcakes, hot food and refreshments to buy. There is flora and fauna, home and garden gifts, collectables, equine and nautical wares and local brewers.

Show highlights include meet the adorable breed of Valais BlackNose sheep, meet magnificent heavy horses in harness and their handlers, enter your dog into the fun dog show, agility and fly ball, handle beautiful birds of prey soaring the skies, watch 'gentle giant' Newfoundland's rescue humans on the lake, see animal displays, meet the Vikings in their encampment, watch police dogs capture fugitives, admire classic cars and tractors. There is something for everyone!

Relax or take part at this popular day out in the country. In support of the Essex Air Ambulance.
