DC01 steel (1.0330 material) is a European standard cold-rolled quality low-carbon steel flat product for cold forming. In BS and DIN EN 10130 standard, it contains 5 other steel grades: DC03 (1.0347), DC04 (1.0338), DC05 (1.0312), DC06 ( 1.0873) and DC07 (1.0898), the surface quality is divided into 2 types: DC01-A and DC01-B. In addition, this steel is also used under electrogalvanizing conditions. The designation of the steel is DC01+ZE (or 1.0330+ZE), and the standard is EN 10152.

DC01 steel strip is a cold-rolled low carbon steel strip that is commonly used in various applications such as automotive components, household appliances, construction materials, and general engineering purposes. It has excellent formability, high strength, and good weldability. DC01 steel strip is produced through a cold-rolling process, which involves passing the steel through a series of rollers to reduce its thickness and improve its surface finish. This steel strip is known for its consistent mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy, and uniformity. It is often used in the manufacturing of parts that require tight tolerances and precise dimensions.
The European Standard Dc01 applies to cold rolled uncoated low carbon steel flat products in rolled widths equal to or over 600 mm for cold forming, with a minimum thickness of 0,35 mm and, unless otherwise agreed at the time of inquiry and order, equal to or less than 3 mm, delivered in sheet, coil, slit coil, or cut lengths obtained from slit coil or sheet.
It does not apply to cold rolled narrow strip (rolling width < 600 mm) nor to flat cold rolled products for which there is a specific standard, in particular the following:

• cold rolled non-grain oriented magnetic steel sheet and strip (EN 10106);
• semi-processed steel strip for the construction of magnetic circuits (EN 10126 and EN 10165);
• blackplate in coils (EN 10205);
• cold rolled flat products in high yield strength steels for cold forming (EN 10268);
• cold rolled uncoated non-alloy mild steel narrow strip for cold forming (EN 10139);
• cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for vitreous enamelling (EN 10209).

Cold rolled steel coil is the abbreviation of cold-rolled plain carbon structural plate, also known as cold-rolled sheet, commonly known as the cold plate. Cold plate is made of ordinary carbon structural steel hot rolled steel strip, after further cold rolling steel plate thickness is less than 4mm. Due to the rolling at room temperature, do not produce iron oxide, so cold plate surface quality, high dimensional accuracy, coupled with the annealing, mechanical and technological properties are superior to hot-rolled steel sheet, in many areas, especially household electrical appliance manufacturing, has been gradually replaced with its hot-rolled steel sheet
