Oliver Swift is one of five dateable characters from Dialtown, created by DirectDoggo. He's the second most popular and lusted-over character, and one of the characters that has their life the most together (the one with the most normal life is Karen).
Basic Information[ ]
In-game, you find Oliver in an old broken-down theater shop that's gathering dust due to how much online streaming services are making nowadays. He has a cream-colored wallphone for a head, which is topped with a red fez. He wears a black undershirt with a red flannel with rolled up sleeves. As shown in the credits art, he wears a black belt with black jeans, along with brown dress shoes.
Oliver is an extroverted character, being generally friendly and confident.
Archetypes[ ]
Angst[ ]
It is heavily implied he lost his parents at a young age and was an orphan for most of his life before being adopted by Mr. Dickens.
Artsy[ ]
Literally a theater kid. (Not really, he's 24.) Point is, he works in a theater. The main driving force for his route is him wanting to make a blockbuster hit.
Distinctive Speech Patterns[ ]
Commonly seen using 80's slang, like "gnarly" or "rad" or something gay like that.
Gay[ ]
Canonically transgender, confirmed by DirectDoggo and also by him stating he made his own phone head from scratch. Also, canonically gay, as he will refuse to date the player if they have a typewriter head. He states "I'm a phonefucker first and a monsterfucker second". For context, Phone people are male, and Typewriter people are female. There are a few hybrid phone-writer heads out there, too.
Object Head[ ]
Fun Fact: The specific model of phone on his head is an Eircom Comfort.
Pale Twink[ ]
Woo. Yeah baby.
Retro[ ]
Uses a lot of outdated slang in his speech, alongside having a rather retro phone head.
