Unit 7 Signs around us 教案 1教学目标 Teaching objectives: Knowledge objectives: 1. Understanding the meaning and pronunciation of four different kinds of signs and use them to classify the signs. 2. Asking Wh-questions to find out specific information. 3. Using modal verbs to express obligation. Ability objectives: To draw or design some useful signs in the school campus. To improve students’ abilities of listening, reading, speaking and writing. To cultivate the cooperation spirit between the students through the activities. Emotion objectives: 1. To realize the importance of signs and learn to obey the rules. 2. To inspire and arouse students’ interests of learning English through multi-media teaching. 2学情分析 我们这个班级共有28名学生, 学生整体英语程度较弱,班级部分学生有一定的语言知识和语言技能积累,课堂上积极活跃,乐于主动参与课堂活动, 但班中也有部分同学基础薄弱,口语、听力、写作等能力落后, 在课堂上表现沉默,有时不认真听讲。我在教学设计上注意为薄弱学生设计难度梯度,设立多种活动让学生有开口练习的学习机会,比如能使用一些简单的词汇、句型进行简单的对话。 同时,为成绩较好的学生设计有开放性的活动,使大家能够在课堂上共同学习、进步。 3重点难点 本课是牛津英语教材7A Unit 7 Signs around us的第一课时,本篇课文的文本内容较为简单,主要教会学生我们生活中的各种标志的意思以及他们是属于什么类型的标志。在6A教材中,学生已经学过Rules round us, 所以对于这一课型的内容也较为熟悉,但是在学会和正确运用instruction, information, warning and direction这四个单词的过程中,有一定难度。在教学过程中,教师主要通过设置不同的环节,让学生反复操练单词、句型,使学生掌握并学会运用。通过本课时的学习,学生能正确运用“It is a/an…sign.” 和 “It means …”这两个句型来谈论我们周围的标志。 4教学过程 活动1【导入】Pre-task preparation Lead-in Tell a short story. Listen carefully and answer the question. Think and say Ask Ss some questions. Answer the questions. 活动2【讲授】While-task procedure Look and learn Show a picture and teach the word: hike Look at the picture and learn what they are doing. Listen and learn Play the recording on page 48. Ask Ss to listen to the dialogues and teach the new words. Listen to the dialogues, point out the right signs, and learn the meaning and pronunciation of the new words. Look and read 1. Play the recording of the text. 2. Ask Ss to read the dialogues in pairs. 1. Read after the recording. 2. Read the dialogues in pairs. Think and say To show different kinds of signs. To identify different kinds of signs.
