Calvin Klein has decided to kick off the new year with the unveiling of a fresh new face. Spanish tennis star, Carlos Alcaraz, has teamed up with the brand to present the latest installment of ‘Calvins Or Nothing’, an ongoing visual campaign launched earlier this year. Alcaraz joins actor and musician Maya Hawke and Belgian footballer Romelu Lukaku as faces of the campaign, which highlights Calvin Klein’s keen eye for of-the-moment talent across industries.

In a series of photos and video lensed by Gray Sorrenti, Alcaraz is seen wearing Calvin Klein’s new Classic Straight denim jeans and the brand’s signature Modern Cotton, Cotton Stretch, and Cotton Classic Underwear. The shots are stripped of color to match former installments of ‘Calvins Or Nothing’ as well as the brand’s larger oeuvre. We can’t help but remember the monochrome moguls of the brand’s past—Kate Moss, Mark Wahlberg, and Justin Bieber first come to mind—whose campaigns were made even more visceral by the iconic grayscale format.
At just 19 years old, Alcaraz holds no less than six career titles, including Grand Slam winner at the 2022 US Open, making him the youngest world number one in the history of tennis. With a fanbase of 2.1 million (and counting) on Instagram and this latest venture into the fashion world, the young tennis star is shaking up influencer culture as he aces his way through the commotion of press conferences, matches, and now, modeling contracts.
