Yuuji Kazami is the protagonist of the Grisaia series. He's a deadly and badass assassin for the Japanese Gov. Though being in that environment has made him long for a decent teenage life & has been wanting to go to a "normal" school with "normal" people.

There's not much change in Yuuji appearance throughout the series. He has black hair with black eyes. His main outfit is his school uniform which he basically wears all throughout the series.

Yuuji young life wasn't all that great as his sisters was superb due to the fact the she was extremely smart & talented. Because of his sister's intelligence, his parents mainly his father ignored him because Yuuji was "useless" & didn't show any kind of brains & whatnot. Soon when Yuuji sister "died" in a horrific car accident, his father fell into depression & turned to alcohol. His father turned mean & hateful & started to beat his wife & son.

Soon after Yuuji & his mom secretly left his father & moved into a small house. Him & his mom lived a somewhat good life has his mom had a job trying to support her son & busting her ass for him.

One day as Yuuji mom was getting ready for work his drunk and useless father came in & started demanding alcohol & started beating Yuuji mom after that he started to forcefully take her clothes off & proceeded to Rape her. Yuuji is witnessing this & grew extremely angry & picked up a thick glass bottle & smashed it on his father's head, resulting in Yuuji first kill.

Soon after that he was raised by Askao also known as Yuuji master. Yuuji joined the same job as Asako & earned the code name "9029."

After Asako death Yuuji set off to find what he wants by traveling to no place in particular just basically a road trip. He comes back now knowing what he wants & that is to have a normal life with a normal school life with normal kids. That is when he gets accepted into Mihama Academy & his new life begins....
